Worked as a researcher/software developer at BCore software India Pvt. Ltd. The work was based around vision algorithms and implementation optimization.

Worked on NFSv4 testing, developed a set of scripts which was used in conjunction with NetEm (linux kernel supported network emulation) for testing. This was research oriented, and helped me understand network file-systems better. The project was completed to my mentor's satisfaction.

Web Service PDS - The goal was to develop a plugin for Oracle Reports server using Java. I designed and implemented the plugin, which was demonstrated to the U.S headquarters and got great reviews.

Personal video recording – A PVR prototype (similar to TiVo) was developed from scratch using off-the-shelf hardware and Open source software. We used a VIA EPIA embedded board and MythTV for building a compact set-top box, the EPG was generated by crawling the Indiatimes.com TV listings.

Worked on a WYSIWYG XUL editor, took the intial codebase from chameleon. It was not completed, but was an interesting project.

B.Tech Project. - Unusual Activity Recognition
The goal of the project was to detect any unusual human activity using video. Work on activity recognition using video and unusual activity problem was successfully demonstrated in an real-time environment.
