Personal video recording – A PVR prototype (similar to TiVo) was developed from scratch using off-the-shelf hardware and Open source software. We used a VIA EPIA embedded board and MythTV for building a compact set-top box, the EPG was generated by crawling the Indiatimes.com TV listings.
